OK, here's proof that I'm the worst mother EVER. Dylan started crying hysterically when they were laughing at that guy (the one you were worried about). And we made her keep watching.

Ahhhh, consider it a character-builder!

Yes, he did say from the hair down to the nipple as he pointed to his toe. Ariel gave me an "are you kidding me?" look and said, "Uh, I think he's a little confused..." Watching Idol with kids makes it that much better, right?

While I AM a big fan of body glitter, SO not an argument for too much of anything is just too much, I usually wait for month 2 of AI when it's narrowed down quite a bit. The weird and talentless in the beginning make me nervous and I end up feeling sorry for them. Clearly codependent of me.
We love it though and take it personally every year when our favorite (always the most talented) never wins. I saw Taylor Hicks on Martha Stewart the other day for god's sake. Why did they ever think he could carry a tune?

That's me. I'm a single mama in the city who is an editor, writer and social media host. I wear inappropriately high heels to the playground and know too much about light sabers.

Star Wars-obsessed, Tae Kwon Crazayyy child who eerily/awesomely knows exactly how both high-fructose corn syrup and autopsies work. He also compliments my shoes. My work here is done.

I wrote this.

It is mine. All mine. Everything written here is copyright me and only me. Do not even think about using it without permission. OK, now back to nice grrrl me.
